Mark your calendars for movie nights at the American Library on every Friday of each month, excluding July and August.

Film Night series was begun in the autumn of 2003, and the movies continue to be shown in the American Library on Fridays of each month at 6:00pm.

Each screening session begins with an introduction to the movie genre and themes by an American guest speaker and concludes with a discussion involving the audience after each film. Films are shown on large screen in DVD format.

Film titles are announced only a month in advance, so watch for posters at

the end of the current month for the film schedule on the next month. The alternative is to join our film attendee e-mail list and to get notions on film schedule regularly.
