Gaming @ the Library!

Did you know that the American Library at NaUKMA has a collection of 15 board games?
Besides the classic board games like Monopoly and Scrabble we have Boggle, Forbidden Island, Jumbulaya, Sort It Out, Word Racer and more. These games were generously donated by the U. S. Embassy Kyiv.
These games are available to use s during Game Afternoon programs. Beginning July  2011, we launch a new program – Game Afternoon. This program aims to build and foster English language skills in a fun and competitive way. It meets once a week on Tuesdays at 4p.m .
Bring your friends, family and spend an afternoon of fun in the air conditioned Media Room this summer exploring our great board game collection.

It's time to go back to school!

The American Library at NaUKMA  is the place for higher school students to get plenty of back-to-school help, including their most important school supply -- a library card. Students over 16 years of age are welcome to join the Library.

Back-to-school time is a great time to spotlight the impressive digital NaUKMA Library collection that is available at the AL workstations. It contains an impressive collection of e-journals and e-books. Library staff will be on hand to demonstrate the Library's many online databases and services, including eLibraryUSA, EBSCO, Oxford Reference Online - Premium Collection, and much more.

University libraries worldwide are also home to some wealthy e-resources, many of which are available to more than just the students and teachers at the institution:
